GENEL NİTELİKLER

Working as a Project Engineer, you will be the support person for various Robotics Customer Service front-end engineering projects in Robotics & Discrete Automation; Service & Digital Platform in Istanbul, providing technical details, costs and deliverables for sales proposals. Reporting to the Customer Services Manager, you will make technical recommendations in various phases of customer projects to ensure successful delivery of project deliverables on time, within budget and in line with quality and safety guidelines.

Your responsibilities:

Manages multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail while adhering to ABB processes for project execution.

Assures ABB commitments to customer are met, in accordance with contract.

Interacts with sales team, partners, and customers to ensure that the required data is available for the various functions.

Evaluating the feasibility of the technical parameters that are to be met on the customer requirement.

Ensures Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards are fulfilled during the project execution.

Maintains and enhances customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project.

Provides technical support to pre-sale proposal and test project.

Supports productivity improvement projects such as renew, upgrade or adding different functionality on existing robots.

Your background:

University degree in Mechatronic, Mechanic or Electric/Electronics Engineering, Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in automation/robotics will be an advantage,
Strong knowledge of industrial robot operations and servo systems, including electrical and software interfaces,
Preferably have process knowledge in one or more disciplines such as welding, material handling, paint, press automation, picking/packing/palletizing, camera applications etc.,
Preferably have a working knowledge of control systems, I/O, PLC and bus communication for building motion control systems,
Experience in ABB Robots is a definite plus,
Experience in off-line robot programming and simulation packages (Robot Studio) is a plus,
Advance English skills.
