Çalık Enerji is operating in Romania, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Iraq and Senegal with its 3 fields of activity; EPC Contracting Operations, Distribution-Retail and Renewable Energy Investments.

We are looking for a Project Finance Manager in Çalık Enerji Headquarters – Project Finance Function located in Istanbul;

Job Description:

· Originating and completing financings for EPC projects (EPC-F) across energy sector in different countries

· Structuring projects, developing and negotiating term sheets to execution

· Translating business development plans into real business plans with structure to act upon and present to senior management

· Gather model inputs from internal and external stakeholders

· Build and maintain financial models and perform economic analysis for potential energy investment opportunities – evaluating the attractiveness of projects

· Support the closing process of transactions, which includes modeling analysis, responding to questions from counterparties, and preparation of documentation

· Prepare financial analyses and presentations for senior management and committee meetings

· Follow industry trends and activities such as power pricing, regulatory or financial incentives and structured financing transactions

· Establishing ties with market participants including international banks, development finance institutions, project finance intermediaries and developers

· Ability to manage a team

· Other ad-hoc tasks

Minimum Qualifications:

· Excellent track record from a top-tier school with bachelor’s degree, MBA or graduate degree

· A minimum 10-15-year experience in project finance and structured finance supporting complex transactions

· Good understanding of energy sector, project financing and EPC-F projects with knowledge of ECA structures

· Ability to meet senior officials of banks, corporates and governments and ability to win their confidence meeting their needs

· Strong analytical skills and excellent financial modeling experience

· Strong interest in joining an entrepreneurial environment and the opportunity to be part of building a high-performance team

· Comfortable in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment

· Willingness to work long hours where required in order to achieve the objectives

· Excellent English written and oral communication skills
