QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Project Mechanical Design Engineer in our fast-changing & dynamic organization.
Qualifications
- University degree in Mechanical Engineer
- At least 3-4 years experience in related work (Preferably in LV/MV equipment design & manufacturing will be an asset)
- Capable of using CAD software (Preferably Pro engineer and AutoCAD)
- Good command of written and spoken English Language (the French language is an asset)
- Customer focus and set up customer satisfaction as a priority with a pro-active approach
- Collaborate with different disciplines and departments
- Suitable to work with many projects at the same time, multitasking
- Having a sense of detail and being able to take initiative and responsibility
- Self-motivated and challenge the business with high energy
Description
- Making the mechanical design of Low/ Medium Voltage Switchgear using the necessary tools and programs (Pro-engineer, AutoCAD, SAP)
- Preparing documentation for design output such as material list (BOM), assembly, and part drawings
- Managing non-standard local adaptations and feasibility process
- Creating technical solutions for customer needs with optimum costs within performances by considering the company's benefit
- Following non-conformance reports and taking necessary preventive actions
- Giving support for the best-optimized project at tendering and design stage
- Supporting R&D projects
