QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description
We are currently offering an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us in starting something remarkable as a Project Purchasing Engineer.
Your contribution to something big:
Associate will be a member of a multi-location international team, the position is located in Manisa.
- Participate in TTM project meetings (purchasing member of project team) with perspective of quality, costs, delivery
- Sending request for quotations to potential suppliers (including all requirements for the new part)
- Technical and commercial discussions (with suppliers and internal)
- Supplier selection
- Contracting (if project related, like confidentiality, simultaneous engineering or development agreement)
- Lead/cooperate sourcing strategy
- Ordering tooling and samples
- Follow up progress of new part, take action when deviating from target (quality, costs, delivery) and report accordingly
- Hand over responsibilities for new part to logistics and commercial purchasing after approval
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
- Graduation from Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Electrical Engineering department of the universities
- Minimum 3 years experience in Purchasing, R&D or Project Management
- Past experience in stamping tools and plastic injection tools are a plus.
- Excellent level in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- No obligation to travel both in Turkey and internationally
- Ability to work in international team
- Good negotiation and communication skills
- Self motivated and responsible
