QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an Purchasing Associate to be located in our Akyazı Plant. A brief job description of the position and preferred qualifications for the suitable candidates are defined below:
*Being responsible for the raw materials & packaging purchasing processes (preform, HDPE,LDPE materials, aluminum materials and other commodities) both locally and globally,
*Applying professional and skilled procurement practices to strategically source and manage multiple commodities globally, assuring long term supply at world class levels of quality, delivery and total cost
*Managing and execute supplier improvement initiatives by identifying supplier performance gaps, Implementing automated reporting of KPIs and supplier Scorecards, creating and executing improvement plans to ensure and improve supplier quality, delivery and cost,
*Developing alternative suppliers and materials for Reduce costs and improve process
*Following the market indicators closely and take the necessary purchasing measures,
*Working in coordination with all departments to take necessary actions
*Prepearing of procurement reports, periodic reporting of budget realizations.
Qualifications
*Bachelor’s degree in related departments of universities,
*Experience in Purchasing or similar position min 3 years,
*Excellent command of written and spoken English,
*Advanced user of MS Office applications,
*Preferably knowledge of SAP MM Modul,
*Strong communication & negotiation skills with excellent organizing and planning skills,
*Active driver - B class and no restrictions for travelling,
*Lives/can live in Sakarya / Akyazı.
