QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
In our İstanbul-Maslak HQ, we are looking for a colleague with the following qualifications to be appointed as a Purchasing Chief at the Purchase Department;
Qualifications
- University degree (preferably from metallurgical and material engineering / mechanical engineering / industrial engineering),
- At least 2 years of work experience in the field of engineering,
- At least 3 years of experience in purchasing operations,
- Very good command of English,
- Experience in managing complex projects to meet demand needs, cost targets, quality and delivery plan,
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills,
- Proficient in MS Office applications,
- Preferably with Cement experience,
- Preferably with import experience,
- For male candidates who have completed their military service.
Job Description
- Examining the approved purchase requests and making the purchase according to the relevant rules/contract,
- Pre-evaluation of offers collected from suppliers,
- Analyzing price, scope and delivery details on the basis of suitable suppliers and negotiating with suppliers,
- Preparation of contracts to be made with suppliers, obtaining and monitoring their legal compliance,
- Creating purchase requests according to the details of the contract with the suppliers,
- Archiving, reporting and sharing information and documents related to purchasing with relevant persons,
- Manage production requests from producer to customer,
- Establishing and implementing procurement strategies and objectives,
- Managing and developing the supplier pool,
- Making monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Evaluating the suppliers and making necessary improvements within the scope of supplier evaluation system.
