QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a “Purchasing Engineer” for our global and multinational company, which is one of the leading companies in the automotive industry, located in Bursa with the following qualifications;
- University degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering faculties, MBA is an asset.
- Min. 2-3 years experience in production materials purchasing, preferably in automotive industry.
- Good Knowledge of MS Office programs, SAP MM procurement module knowledge is an asset
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, German is an asset.
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to work co-operatively in a multinational operating organization, team player. strong communication and presentation skills.
- High level of personal responsibility, hardworking and strong commitment. Self-starter, eager to take initiative.
- Able to work under time pressure, excellent time management, result and quality-oriented.
- Strong negotiation and problem solving skills,
- Valid driving license, no restrictions to travel.
- No military obligation for male candidates.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Realization of purchasing processes; indirect / direct material, service & equipment.
- Market search to find, analyze and propose alternative suppliers & contractors
- Collecting offers from existing and alternative suppliers, preparing analysis of quotations.
- Preparation and negotiation of purchase agreements, follow sampling process.
- To make price negotiations periodically and execute the necessary data changes in the system.
- Preparation of requested periodic reports.
- Develop cost reduction strategies and ensure cost reduction targets are achieved.
