Euromarine Shipyard is a company in Antalya free trade zone which is active in yacht design and manufacturing sector. We are looking for a Purchasing Engineer to work in our team.
PURCHASING ENGINEER
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Marine, Mechanical or related Engineering departments)
Minimum 2 years of experience in tecnical procurement
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Good knowledge of MS Office programs, Mikro ERP Program
Strong time-management and organizational skills,
Strong communication, and presentation skills,
Analytical thinker and excellent team player, advanced negotiation and persuasion skills
Strong problem-solving skills, keen in details with a self-disciplined personality
Preferably Experience in Free Zone and Customs Procedures
Residing in Antalya or willing to live in Antalya
No military obligation for male candidates
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for sourcing and purchasing of services, raw materials and general supplies
Prepare request for quotations, examine prices, evaluate all quotes that are received, monitor the availability of items, compare specifications and review alternatives to determine most desirable suppliers
Following up the orders that have not been received and contacting the supplier companies when necessary
Actively communicate with all the departments to ensure ongoing plant operations
Perform all necessary procurement operations activities
Investigate opportunities for cost improvement, search for alternative sources
Keep informed of market trends for purchasing process
Keep all data relevant to purchasing department
Prepare various reports for management
