QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

The ideal candidate should be able to develop efficient purchasing solutions, sourcing new suppliers, ensuring that the purchased products meet specific technical specifications. The successful purchasing specialist should be able to resolve any supply issues.

Responsibilities

· Research and identify prospective suppliers.

· Evaluate products and suppliers according to specific criteria.

· Request quotes, prepare proposals and negotiate purchasing terms and conditions.

· Prepare purchase orders.

Qualifications

· Experience in food supply and purchasing.

· 2+ years of experience as a purchasing specialist or in a similar role.

· Fluent in English and Turkish.

· Arabic is a plus.

· Background about the supply chain.

· Background about export and Logistics.

· CRM knowledge and WordPress data entry.

· Availability of negotiation skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Excel.

· Flexibility to work after normal hours (remotely).

· Legally authorized to work in Turkey.
