QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Automation Testing
Automation test script drafts will be written in parallel to development.
Object identification and other script support is done after deployment in QA environment Execution of automation script after each deployment for scripts completed by then
End goal of automation is to complete all Acceptance tests by end of each sprint. If there are backlogs then high priority Business use cases need to be prioritized.
QA Key Objectives
• QA process to align with the Agile 2 week sprint process followed by development,
• Functional QA: To write and execute 100% of testcases within same sprint,
• Automation QA: To develop, execute and run all tests as part of CI/CD pipeline,
• Demonstrate testcases, tests completed for each sprint in different meetings – Test cases Review and Test Acceptance meeting respectively,
• Identify defects, report them clearly in Azure Devops (ADO) and track them to completion,
• Report metrics precisely each week (maintained as part of Teams)
• Last but not the least, ensure zero defect leakage.
