We are seeking a highly motivated “QA / QC Lead Engineer” to strengthen our construction team in Aliağa / İZMİR.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy Engineering is a must.

Welding Engineer Diploma is a must.

Min. five years of experience of industrial construction projects, preferably in the oil & gas sector.

Storage tank construction and repair experience is a plus.

Excellent written/verbal communication and reporting skills in English.

Good knowledge of ASME and API standards.

NDT Qualifications are plus.

Living or able to live in İzmir.

Good command of MS office applications, basic skills of AutoCAD.

Energetic, self-directed, team player and analytical thinker.

Tasks:

Create or adjust project specific ITPs for piping, mechanical equipment, steel structures and tanks as per the Contract, specifications and reference standards.

Adapting the company QA procedures for specific project requirements.

Preparation and qualification of PQR – WPS.

Follow up the site progress and organize inspections as per related ITPs, in close contact with Construction Engineers.

Daily working organization of site QC inspectors.

Provide technical assistance and support to inspectors in terms of standards, procedures, specifications and solving dispute points with Owner.

Join quality site walkthroughs, create reports and inform management about quality related problems. Participate in quality related meetings with Owner.

Supervision of ITP reporting, report approval process, and weld logbook data updating.

Creating and supervision of updating weld maps.

Involves directly in the process of closure of NCRs.
