QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in multinational quality control/consultancy companies
- Strong reporting skills
- High level of MS Office knowledge and practice
- Knowledge on ISO 9001 quality management system
- Good command of spoken and written English
- No restrictions for travel (having Class B Driving Licence) and for working within flexible hours
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once
- No military obligation for male candidates
- Having experience in due diligence works is a plus
- Having experience in design of various civil structures is a plus
Job Description
- The staff will be based in our İstanbul office, however, he/she will be appointed as quality control inspector in our Real Estate & Infrastructure Division for the projects in Turkey and abroad. So, the position requires that the staff travels for short durations in case of need.
- Quality control of the materials and the construction, performing review of the design, reporting the findings and the results
- Following-up and reporting of the necessary tests and experiments during the construction process
- Determination of the defective applications and controling the corrective actions
- Controlling the progress payments of the contractors
- Reviewing the projects issued by the contractor
- Participation in acceptance process
- Following-up of the schedule and issuing notices in case of variation
