We are looking “Quality Specification Specialist" for our company that has located at Manisa/Turkey.


Responsibilities

  • To maintain accuracy and complete updates of all product and raw material specifications in SAP and company database
  • To ensure that all food products manufactured meet requirements of customers, regulatory authorities, and internal standards
  • Monitor and track current Local, EU and Middle East regulations and trends related to food labeling, nutrition, claims and food safety
  • Providing technical support in the development of substantiating and validating label claims, such as non-GMO, gluten-free, vegan, kosher and other relevant claims as needed
  • To maintain a document management system compliant with regulatory, quality, and company requirements
  • Providing specifications and technical information to stakeholders when needed.
  • To update customer databases with new and updated specifications as appropriate.


Requirements

  • Minimum 2- 3 years’ experience in quality assurance, food safety, food manufacturing, specifications management, database administrator or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Nutrition, Food Science or related discipline required
  • Proficient in MS Office Products and SAP
  • Knowledge of Food Safety Modernization Act regulations, global regulatory food law, food safety, advertising, claim substantiation and risk assessment is a plus
  • Strong ability to interpret and analyze the regulations and create practical, business friendly solutions
  • Must be a highly organized team player with strong critical thinking skills and an acute attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to communicate complex regulatory and scientific issues in simple terms.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
