We're looking for a R&D Engineer for our global customer operates in food industry.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Supporting the R&D Team during the food and/or process development and
implementation phases, ensuring a successful launch of innovation, renovation, cost
optimization, and Supply Chain request projects.
Assisting in production of food for consumer image or sensory testing.
Assisting organization and reporting of both production and laboratory trials for
innovation, renovation, cost optimization and Supply Chain request projects.
Preparing food samples for local & regional stakeholders.
Assisting in preparing packaging die cuts and nutritional label information sheets;
including ingredients list, allergens, nutritional values etc. in line with both local and export
regulations.
Collecting required data from suppliers, following up the alternative material development
process.
Development and implementation of innovative Ready-To-Eat Cereals improving food
quality, cost, productivity and capacity.
Providing a supporting role executing delegated tasks under guidance
Adding to your own skills and knowledge by close interaction within the team, R&D
function and the wider business.
REQUIREMENTS:
Relevant experience within the food industry as an R&D Engineer/Trainee.
Hold a degree in Food Engineering or equivalent.
Sound theoretical technical knowledge of food development.
Passion for creative food development and have hands-on process experience.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Show high levels of proactivity and a desire to drive results whilst keeping the consumer at the heart of what we do.
