QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Profile:
- Carrying out laboratory and literature researches on raw materials and production consumables,
- Creating cost advantages by evaluating new suppliers / alternative materials,
- Supporting suppliers by on-site visits and feedbacks,
- Developing and improving test methods in the Chemistry Lab,
- Collaborating with Universities / Labs in order to carry out fundamental studies,
- Contribution to Production Quality Improvement and Product Development projects,
- Following up on sectoral developments, new technologies and publications.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (Master’s degree in a related field would be a plus),
- Similar Lab experience would be an advantage,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English,
- Proficiency in MS Office applications,
- Good communication skills and teamwork,
- Good at problem-solving and able to take initiative,
- Knowledge or willingness to learn Minitab and 6 Sigma Project approach,
- Living/willing to live in Istanbul Anatolian Side, Gebze, or Kocaeli
