''WE are seeking a R&D Project Engineer/Leader (Chemicals Platform) to reinforce our Global Technology Team.''
Qualifications:
· Graduated from Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering Department (Master’s Degree, preferably PhD, or continuing PhD),
· Minimum 4 years in total and minimum 2 years’ experience in Chemistry/Material sector especially in solvents, chemical raw materials, polymers
· Concerned and well-informed aboutOrganic Chemistry, Polymers/Polymer Synthesis and Reaction Chemistry,
· Experienced in the field of instrumental analysis techniques and interpret the results (DSC, FTIR, TGA, DMA, XRD, GPC, surface tension, complex size, etc.),
· Preferably have experience about sustainable materials,
· Preferably have experience working in innovation and new product creation
· To be able to lead projects in chemical synthesis and recipe development,
· Good English level to be able to follow the literature, participate and communicate in overseas customer meetings, seminars/fairs etc.,
· Preferably have experience in national and international funded projects (Tübitak, Horizon, etc..)
· To be able to work with marketing development team, other Kordsa sites in approvals and development of new products,
· Preferably well-informed about Statistical Analyses, DOE, R&D Promotions and Patentability,
· Informed and concerned about Google, MS Office applications and Digitalization,
· Good human relations and communication,
· Careful, analytical, planned and problem-solver,
· Growth-minded, curious, creative, dynamic.
Job Description:
· Research, develop, evaluate, and deploy novel and sustainable materials for our future products as well as improvements to existing products
· Create and lead new product development projects
· Search and lead strategic partnerships around the globe with material suppliers and/or academic institutions to develop new or improved sustainable materials for use in products.
· Conduct detailed industry and competition analyses to identify best industry material innovation practices.
· Perform chemical analysis and physical property testing of materials and products.
· Conduct research into identification of alternative formulations/raw materials to generate product cost savings and improve process efficiencies
· Carry out and support new channel and business development studies for new and existing product group,
· Carry out characterization and test method development studies related to products and raw materials,
