QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description
- Inspection and analysis of Gasoline High Pressure Injection components, e.g. high pressure pumps
- Root-cause analysis of failures, e.g. wear, cracks, deposits
- Analysis and derivation of mathematical component damage models
- Analysis and interpretation of test results (surface profiles, EDX-spectroscopy, SEM, etc.)
- Analysis of data (e.g. pressure pulsation) from endurance testing
- Interpretation and evaluation of testing data, summarizing the results into an investigation report
- Working in an International Engineering Network
Qualifications
- University Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Mechatronics
- Programming skills (e.g. Python, PowerBI, Matlab, Cornerstone)
- Experience with inspection of steel components/materials is an asset
- If possible experience in Automotive Engineering and Fuel Injection Systems
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and/or German
- FEM experience is asset (e.g. ANSYS)
- Good communication skills, ability to work in a team
- Methodical and structured work habit
- Enthusiastic for engineering as well as Information Technology (IT)
