In our manufacturing facility in Gebze, Kocaeli, we manufacture highly efficient solar PV modules based on crystalline silicon technology for on-grid & off-grid solar power plants, commercial rooftop, and land-based solar power projects. With 23.500m2 indoor space and our state-of-the-art automated production lines to ensure the highest quality standards in producing both standard and dual glass modules using the latest PERC, Half Cut Cell, and Bi-Facial solar module technologies up to 12 Busbars totaling to an 1000MW yearly capacity.
Smart Energy currently owns and operates solar IPP sites in Turkey, Romania, Greece, and Bulgaria with 100+ MW capacity, and another 60MW under construction.
With a portfolio of more than 500+ MW in utility-scale & rooftop solar EPC projects, we possess years of expertise in constructing utility-scale and rooftop solar power plants of all sizes.
We are looking for an experienced and higly motivated R&D Engineers for our factory, which performs mass production in Gebze Organized Industrial Zone.
General Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and MSc Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Material&Metallurgy Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electric&Electronic Engineeringfaculties from reputable universities,Phd will be considered as an asset
- At least 3-7 years of experience in R&D departments especially semiconductor materials, nanomaterials, spectroscopy, electron transfer dynamics, etc
- Preferably experienced in optics knowledge and interested in the solar energy sector
- Knowledge on R&D quality and incentive processes
- Project Management experience
- Skilled in Technical writing, research and analysis reports
- Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Experience in Autocad, Solidworks, Origin, DFT calculations is preferred
- Self-disciplined, proactive, dynamic, eager to learn and to take on new challenges
- Team player, result-oriented with strong planning and organization skills
- Being flexible in working hours and have no travel restrictions domestically and internationally
- For male candidates, military service must be completed
- Resides in the Anatolian side of Istanbul or Kocaeli region
Job Description
- Monitoring the projects in accordance with the disciplines within the expertise and reporting with R&D project management systematic
- Project preparation and documentation in accordance with national and international project mechanisms
- Researching and informing about the latest developments and innovations, organizations in all disciplines related to R&D processes
- Preparing and planning the company’s R&D projects, research, literature follow-up, analysis and modeling
- Supporting evaluation and assessment of new products, intellectual property rights, processes and industry trends that can or have the potential to impact our business strategies
- Designing and implementing plans to research
- Writing detailed technical reports based on design verification analysis/testing for design changes and product design activities
- Integrating product systems and subsystems to meet business objectives by addressing customer needs and product requirements within defined planned cost calculations.
