• Possess a good command of English and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position at five- star hotels,
• Very good knowledge of MS Office applications,
• To have good skills on using Opera system
• Ability to multitask, work in a fast paced environment and have a high level attention to detail,
• To follow department policies, procedures and service standards,
• To consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service,
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Be organized and motivated, able to remain calm under pressure
• Strong communication, planning, listening and problem solving skills are required.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these;
• To consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• To greet, check in and settle guest accounts while ensuring all service standards are followed
• To respond to each Guest who approaches the Reception Desk
• To provide a warm welcome to all our guests and visitors
• Offer assistance throughout their stay/experience in our hotel,
• Provide quality service with colleagues to the guests by responding to requests promptly, efficiently and courteously during check-in, check-out and throughout the guest's experience
• Address special guest preferences recorded in guest history profiles
• Check cash float at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure at all times that amounts are correct,
• Responsible for smooth functioning of front desk counter, giving a prompt and proper service to the guests and ensuring the efficient handling of all telephone communications.
