- Answer outlet telephone courteously and efficiently as specified in departments standards.
- Escort guest to the table and assist in seating and present the menu
- Assist in the control of their outlet operational budget, ensuring that all costs are strictly controlled maximizing profitability.
- Attend regular meetings and briefings to keep informed of policies and procedures, special events, further improvement plans and guest comments.
- Be familiar with food menus and wine menu offered in outlets.
- Ensure the prompt and efficient service required by the hotel standards.
- Ensure all mis-en-place for restaurant service is correctly prepared prior to opening hour of service.
- Inspect condition and cleanliness of menus and wine list, ensure designated amounts are available, and update menus or wine lists as changes occur.
- Follow opening and closing duties checklist.
General - Be present throughout service.
- Have a thorough knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the resort.
- Maintain an accurate knowledge of all food and beverage activities.
- Always strive to perform any additional and responsibilities given
- In your working area ensure that all guests are greeted courteously and attentively.
- Have knowledge of guest’s likes and dislikes throughout their stay.
