Set up tables as per the standard
To collect and update Guests’ database
Assist in training
To organize the menus for each service and ensure they are cleaned and in good condition, check menus stock level
To present menus and wine lists and assist in service during meal period.
Collect daily newspaper and set up accordingly
Administrative duties including shifts, daily report, competition check, ordering of office supplies.
Communicate with Kitchen for any guests’ special request and dietary requirements
To wish each guest a warm farewell and thank them for coming
To fully inform and aware about all information connecting to Food and Beverage venues and Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus Istanbul generally
To handle guest enquiries and complaints in the outlet in a courteous and efficient manner and report to F&B Director ensuring that the follow up is performed with the guest.
To have role of good Brand ambassador.
To demonstrate a pride in the workplace and a high level of commitment.
Requirements
Proficiency knowledge of English spoken and written language as well as Turkish language. Russian and Arabic language knowledge is a plus.
Using Seven Rooms, Open Table, Seven Rooms and Microsoft Outlook
Demonstrates a high standard of verbal communication, social skills and up selling skills.
Willing to work a flexible schedule and holidays.
Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar position, preferably in luxury environment.
Have the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
