Sagesse Tech is hiring a Senior Software ( Pyton ) Developer in our İstanbul office to work with Munich office to drive the development of our SAP ERP Security products.
Job description
We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to work collaboratively with a highly talented cross-functional development team to create and maintain the best-in-class SIEM connector frameworks and applications for SAP and other ERP systems. The ideal candidate thrives in an agile and fast-paced environment and has a passion for developing high-quality, maintainable code. Join our İstanbul team to build the best software applications covering both cybersecurity and SAP security domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve and extend the log extraction capabilities of our products, with a focus on SAP-related data sources
- Tighten the integration of the products with the product portfolio (e.g., UEBA and SOAR)
- Prepare the product to be provided as software as a service (SaaS)
- Offer APIs to other products, and connect to remote APIs for data retrieval and data delivery
- Improve and enhance the core product platform
- Collaborate with the team and other stakeholders to brainstorm and create new products
- Make informed decisions quickly and take ownership of services and applications at scale.
- Work collaboratively with others to achieve goals
- Stay on the cutting edge of development practices
- Understand business needs and know how to create the tools to manage them
Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Master's degree in Computer Science is preferred
- Experienced with Python programming language (preferred version 3.x)
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Experience building and maintaining complex applications
- Focused on performance and good knowledge of architectural patterns
- Threading & multiprocessing
- Network (TCP/UDP, SSL)
- Consumer and provider of APIs (REST, JSON, XML/XSLT)
- Holistic understanding for full software development lifecycle (Design, Implementation, Testing)
- Coding standards
Nice to have:
- Demonstrated experience developing persistently running applications (e.g., daemon as system service)
- Linux (RedHat, SUSE, Debian, Ubuntu)
- Shell scripting
- Virtual appliances, container, Software as a Service
- Interface to databases
- Interface to SAP applications
- UI development (backend)
- DevOps, CI/CD
- Atlassian suite (JIRA etc.)
