We are looking for a Sales Engineer with the following characteristics to be employed in our company.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering,
  • Minimum 2 years automotive experience,
  • Fluent in both spoken and written in English,
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong teamwork, analytically thinking, self motivated

Job Description

  • Sales Engineer with controlling tasks will be responsible for;
  • Responds to customer requests for quote (RFQ) and engineering changes including costs and timing
  • Co-ordinates RFQ’s and maintains departmental RFQ Log and Prepare required customer quote package documentation of RFQ for new business quotations.
  • Interacts with the customer regarding costing process and pricing negotiations to affirm methods
  • Prepare all required customer paperwork in response to customer requests for quotes on existing business on time.
  • Creates and maintains excellent customer business relationships
  • Maintain the price lists in SAP for saleable products as required.
  • Recognizes and identifies changes in process, product or commercial relationships and creates pricing proposals that deal with these changes.
  • Administers customer service requirements for past and future opportunities
  • Responsible to track customer invoice payments including Tooling & EDT and investigates customer related charges and concerns
  • Works closely with project managers and process engineers to analyze profitability of existing and / or new business using optimum manufacturing / design techniques.
  • Participate in the preparation and presentation to customers or management of sales or technical reviews.
  • Review, approve and process customer purchase orders.
  • Analyzes profitability while interacting with other departments
  • Maintains cost and sales reports for tracking and overall program profitability
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and the materials.
  • Maintain the filing system of all Sales programs to include open and closed quotes, engineering changes and other customer communications.
