QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION


Unifree has been operating duty-free shops since 1984, and its strength comes from its service quality policy. Unifree that is a company with a German partner (Gebr. Heinemann) and manages the world's largest duty-free shop area and offering travel retail services on an area of over 56,000 square meters at Istanbul Airport. We are representative of the prestigious and a retail location in Istanbul Airport with over 2.000 employees.

There is a wide and luxurious product range after Unifree Duty Free stores ticket and passport control. It offers the sales service of products such as liquor, tobacco and confectionery, perfume and cosmetics, and accessories to Airline Passengers. Unifree has 103 sub-operators and a total of 134 local and foreign stores.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field.Master's Degree or MBA preferred,
  • 10+ years’ demonstrated competence in people and project management and leadership, with hands on experience overseeing SAP services,
  • Having people management skills for managing 15+ people. Proven ability to inspire a team, articulate a vision and influence stakeholders,
  • Excellent analytical and diagnostic capability,
  • Strong customer service focus with the ability to build and maintain positive and constructive relationships with both internal and external organizations,
  • Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical and business expertise,
  • Strong problem solver; self-starter; detail oriented,
  • Retail experience is a great asset in order to know “retail is detail”,
  • Excellent time-management/schedule skills; ability to meet deadlines,
  • Having as much as possible experience & process know-how for the following modules and integrations tools; SAP CAR, PMR, MM, SD, PO, SLT, OPP, ABAP Development,
  • Experience on integration tools such as EDI, RFC, Web Services and IDOC,
  • Having experiences on Business Intelligence projects,
  • Team player with a pronounced “can do” mentality, problem-solving skills, leading the change, endurance against challenges, agility to act, stakeholder management skills are more than welcome.


Job Description

  • Leading the SAP systems projects, operations, and support,
  • Leading analysis of the business requirements and finding the appropriate business solutions for requests from business units, managing and guiding the relevant consultants,
  • Work closely with SAP business analysts, architects, and technical teams to deliver project scope on time, on budget and with high quality deliverables,
  • Lead and manage cross-functional team’s immediate remediation to all major issues in all SAP and all effected systems,
  • Oversee the technical, application and operational management for staff and vendors engaging in the day-to-day support of systems,
  • Exercise required controls and proposed improvements as required, including quality plans, issues and action logs, risk management plans and change control plans, for all aspects of the assignment,
  • Implementing relevant innovations and new technologies upon requirements,
  • Driving global standardization and continuously improving processes, tools, procedures, and organization.
