Qualifications: - University degree from Mechanical Engineering
- At least 10 years of experience in water, foam, gaseous based fire protection systems for industrial plants (preffered but not required in Power Plant and/or Oil&Gas Industry)
- Must have proficiency with creating, reading/evaluating PFDs, P&IDs, hydraulic calculations (fire.net, omnicadd, sprinkcalc).
- Proficient with NFPA and other international Fire Protection Codes and Standards.
- Experience in HVAC is an advantage.
- Must have proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft (MS) Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook).
- Effective English communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Self-motivated.
- No restriction to travel.

Responsibilities: - Preparing of Fire Fighting Design criteria, PFD and layout.
- Preparation of Engineering P&IDs showing equipment and basic instrumentation, fire water connections and sources.
- Preparing hydraulic calculations as per design criterias by Omnicad and ensuring conformance to all codes and company standards.
- Selection of Fire Fighting System and equipment in terms of: Duties and fire scenerios, Type of components, Operating logic
- Preparation of technical specifications datasheets and material requisitions of fire protection equipment packages within a multi-disciplinary approach, and ensuring conformance to all codes and company standards.
- Technical evaluation of vendor quotations including preparation of technical bid comparisons.
- Technical support for negotiations with equipment vendors.
- Participation in kick-off and supplier coordination meetings.
- Continued multi-disciplinary coordination of equipment.
- Review and comment on vendor documentation, compilation of comments from other disciplines.
- Review and verification of related detail design engineering documents.
- Finalization of final vendor documentation.
- Preparation of test reports and closure reports.
- And supervising subcontractors for tasks listed above when necessary
