QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Senior Hardware Design Engineer with the following specifications for our company that provides design and engineering services in the automotive industry for local and international platforms.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Electrical-Electronics or Electronics and Communication Engineering disciplines, Master's or PhD degree is an asset
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a full time hardware design engineer
- Designing electronic circuits, schematics and PCB on Altium Designer environment
- Knowledge in microprocessor based design, analog and digital design, component selection
- Knowledge about the design standards such as ISO16750, UN ECER10 etc.
- Knowledge in communication interfaces such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet and FlexRay, RS-232, I2C, SPI
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- A highly motivated self-starter and team-player with very good communication skills
- Knowledge in NXP Power Architecture is a plus
- Knowledge in Power PCB Design is a plus
- Expertise in automotive electronics is a plus
- Experience on ISO26262 - Functional safety, FTA or D-FMEA is a plus
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a member of hardware development team you will be responsible for;
- Designing electronic circuit, schematics and PCB on Altium Designer
- Performing virtual validation during design phase on LTSpice or similar platforms
- Performing virtual thermal analysis on Physics environment
- Performing hardware tests
- Improving current products in terms of cost, performance and variety of applications
- Preparing design & test reports, project documentation and keep track of your engineering work
- Review customer requirement specifications, standards or other documents with hardware specific requirements as well as derive hardware architectures and specifications.
You will cooperate with software developers to prepare hardware platforms in required configurations.
You also will be encouraged to meet up with product owner and attend meetings
