QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Senior Indirect Buyer who will be responsible for the EMEA region suppliers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or Economics
- Min. 7 years professional experience in a similar position
- Experience on negotiation with European suppliers
- Automotive industry experience in a matrix environment is an asset
- Fluent in English (Other European language as German, French etc. is an asset)
- Knowledge of SAP and ERP
- Experience in Quality, Cost and Delivery
- QR6S Yellow Belt is an asset
- Good command of MS Office applications
- No military obligation for male candidates
- Living or willing to live in Sakarya
- No restriction for travel in and out of Turkey
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a panel (status, relation, etc..) of local suppliers
- Negotiate the offers and issue Purchasing Orders
- Manage the blocked invoices
- Assess local suppliers
- Lead negotiations and recharge Cost of Poor Quality with assigned suppliers
- Ensure all contracts are signed by the supplier (vs standard)
- Identify cost reduction opportunities at the assigned suppliers (supplier’s propositions management)
- Update the catalogs with the supplier
- Ensure problem solving in accordance with the escalation procedure
- Agree Cost Model with suppliers
- Manage purchasing data in SAP (IR, SA, SL, PO)
