Danfoss Power Solutions has an opening for a Senior Process Quality Engineer
Location: Çerkezköy
Our Çerkezköy site employs around 3000 people, manufacturing a portfolio of hose products.
Job Description
Responsible for process quality control, capability assessment, and on-going performance improvement of processes and projects in terms of quality, delivery, continuous improvement, and operational alignment with Danfoss Cerkezkoy plant.
Job Responsibilities
- Performs process capability assessments to monitor process control performance. Systematic approach to new implementation
- Implements project action items assigned to them
- Manages process control operators
- Publishes process audit reports outlining non-conformities and opportunities for improvement
- Works closely with Quality Engineers to plan and implement appropriate and timely improvement actions
- Has knowledge on quality systems tools and techniques such as 8D problem-solving, Process Capability Study, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, PPAP, SPC
- Supports internal and external 8D problem-solving teams on process quality matters
- Works closely with Quality Engineers, Production, and Manufacturing and Product Engineering teams in analyzing root causes and implementing permanent corrective actions for all processes
- Supports cross-functional teams in development and deployment of consistent process quality related policies, processes, and procedures per IATF 16949 and ISO 9001
- Actively supports cost-out projects and Six Sigma GB or BB
Background & Skills
The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
- Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering degree or equivalent appropriate experience
- Minimum 4 years of Quality experience in relevant industries
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Applications
- Fluent in English
