QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Argela, which develops 5G enabling & next-generation technologies for telecommunications, public and defense industry; is looking for a * software developer*
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Mobile Network applications, and automated test software based on the product requirements, industry specifications and recommendations (e.g. 3GPP, O-RAN, IETF)
- Interface with product management team and customers to refine and validate requirements before turning them into software designs and automated test cases.
- Continuously innovate and contribute to the team’s edge over the competition.
- Develop design documents and contribute to installation/operation manuals.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Electric Electronics, Computer Science or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of development experience on Mobile Networking solutions with proven track-record of successfully developing new products in an automated CI/CD environment
- Excellent programming experience in C / C++ or GO or Python with Agile/Scrum software development lifecycle.
- Experience with Mobile Access and/or Core Network solutions.
- Proficient in understanding of Virtualization, NFV/SDN, and Docker containers with Kubernetes orchestration.
- Good communication and documentation skills
- The ability to build internal and external relationships at all levels and ability to adapt to dynamic development environments.
Prefered Qualifications:
- Development experience with 3GPP/O-RAN based applications on a RAN Intelligent Controller platform.
- Familiarity with wireless access networks and network architectures associated with the disaggregated and virtualized 4G and 5G technologies.
