QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description:
- Writing Spark Application in order to meet customers' complex analysis requests on Big Data
- Use your software development and machine learning skills to find signal in one of the highest quality data sets in the industry, and develop automation tools to enhance our research and system development
- Working with other team members including data engineers, backend and frontend developers, and UI/UX designers is expected in building end-to-end reporting systems.
- Train and test machine learning and deep learning models, and perform transfer learning by leveraging existing network architectures and models to newer, related problems.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, Physics, Applied Mathematics or related field
- 5+ years of industry experience in software engineering and 2+ years in machine learning
- Knowledge in working with large data sets, machine learning, statistics, optimization, software development. Especially Data Analytics with Spark Framework. Real world problem solving with Spark Framework experience is a must for the position.
- Strong programming skills in Java and Python with data structures and algorithm knowledge
- Experience using TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, Caffe, PyTorch and/or similar frameworks
- Professional experience in building and applying machine learning techniques by using big data systems like Hadoop, Hbase, Spark , Kafka, etc
- Hands-on experience in designing, building, improving and operating high-performance, highly-available and scalable distributed systems for machine learning applications
- Experience working and analyzing time series and reference data
- The extreme desire to learn and solve problems you have never encountered before.
- Comfortable with Agile/Scrum methodologies
