We are looking for Customs Operations Specialist who speaks German for our location in Tuzla, İstanbul or Nilüfer, Bursa.
By working on the existing customs systems of Yazaki; joint lean will work on the management of operational processes at different Yazaki locations, take part in the improvement of existing customs / logistics flows and take over new projects, as well as take full part in cost reduction projects and work on Yazaki's customs cost reduction projects.
What You’ll Do
- To assure the fulfilment of the mission, respecting the values as expression of the culture of the company, guaranteeing the assimilation and the unfolding of the absolute principles of excellence
- To support the implementation of the lean projects in the logistics_customs area – different tools, methods to get improvements – apply these concepts in the plants
- Cordially work with finance department in the plant - make the control of the customs costs in comparison with the forecast and budget
- Leading official customs audits, investigations and export controls for different countries
- Focus on total logistic cost reduction on local plant level
- Work involves analyzing the current logistics cost structure under consideration of all central defined aspects like e.g. routings, inventory and customs and duties
Required Qualifications of Ideal Candidate
- 3-6 years of working experience in the field of transportation, import & export in a logistic environment, ideally in the automotive sector, or in a global trade
- Fluent in German & English
- Strong time management skills with setting the right priorities
- Strong usage of MS Excel, MS Access, SAP seeking to compliantly manipulate data, develop of queries and macros to efficiently review and assess compliance activities
- Team working ability, planning, prioritising and organization skills are required competencies
