We are looking for Supplier Capacity Management Specialist for our engineering office in Nilüfer, Bursa.
What You’ll Do
- Translate business needs and plans into capacity and performance requirements in component supply chain to ensure that future capacity and performance needs can be fulfilled
- Planning for capacity requires management to accept limitations on the production process.Involves gathering supplier intelligence at the company, product, part and process level in order to detect capacity disruptions before they happen
- To manage, control and predict the performance and capacity of supplier operational services in a cost effective and timely manner
- Consideration of all resources required to deliver the service, and plans for short, medium and long term business requirements. This includes initiating proactive and reactive action to ensure that the performances and capacities of services meet their agreed target
- Monitor and negotiate the maximum level of output that a supplier can sustain to make a product or provide a service with an information exchange in detailed questions
- Monitor supplier performance together with suppliers, in cooperation with overall Yazaki required quotation
- Coordinate overall development and improvement activies for the all performance test activities
- To monitor & coordinate the effectiveness and efficiency of the whole supplier manufacturing process within the suppliers,alert with major discrepencies
- Component availibilty risk management to be ready for inevitable shortage by analyzing and proactively preventing supplier capacity risks
- Defining safety stock requirement within Yazaki with a risk scale/score card achievement of suppliers
- Collect and review contingency plans of suppliers within supply chain
- General administrative activities (Maintaining and managing of tracking lists, status reports and overviews to collect needed data, if necessary)
Required Qualifications of Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or relevant fields)
- Advanced knowledge in material capacity planning, APQP, performance test
- Good self-organization and resilience
- 4 to 6 years experience in similar positions
- Knowledge in supplier manufacturing systems and equipments
- Good understanding of supplier production/material planning
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
- Advanced level of MS Office Applications
- Team working ability, planning, prioritising and organization skills are required competencies
