We are looking for 3PL Category Supplier Quality Engineer for our engineering office in Nilüfer, Bursa.


Job Description

  • Perform 3PL supplier process audits (release and incident base) in accordance to Yazaki and customers standards
  • Define and follow up audit action plans and collaborate with supplier development lead auditor
  • Support sourcing risk assessments and initiate supplier action plans for improvement in order to mitigate risks during sourcing decision
  • Involve Business Unit and Logistic organization
  • Leadership for critical concerns, root cause analysis evaluation
  • Assure right and on-time communication between the BU and 3PL
  • Assure for critical concerns quality/logistic cost charge back
  • Leading the SPDM Level 1 and 2 activities and drive the Level 3 by involving executive management level at Yazaki and supplier
  • Define quality objectives with the assigned high impact supplier (HIS) and “D” level suppliers on yearly basis
  • Identify improvement opportunities and continuously drive supplier development and process optimization with assigned suppliers by initiating and supervising SQIP (supplier quality improvement plan) in order to ensure that objectives with respect to quality, cost, timing, delivery, services and environmental compliance are met
  • Coordinate the quality performance measurement of high impact supplier and evaluate results before submitting to supplier on monthly basis
  • Keep suppliers updated in regards to general quality requirements and procedures of Yazaki - especially for Sustainability and Environmental requirements
  • Upon request in regards of supplier certification status, verify and confirm the validity of supplier Quality and Environmental certificates
  • Assure involvement into the general Score Card database and track the performance of the respective suppliers


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or relevant fields)
  • Quality core tools, Lean, Kaizen Supplier development knowledge is required.
  • 3 to 5 years experience in quality management systems, auditing (preferential VDA 6.3) project management and professional experience in automotive industry.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Advanced level of MS Office Applications
  • Team working ability, planning, prioritising and organization skills are required competencies.
