QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- BS/MS degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering , Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Dept.
- At least 3 years experience in a similar position in automotive industry,
- Excellent command of written and spoken English,
- Having basic knowledge of quality systems and ISO / TS 16949 in the automotive industry,
- Strong knowledge about AIAG Core tools ( FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC )
- Knowledge of using the measurement equipments,
- Understanding and interpretation of technical drawings,
- Experience about plastic, rubber, metalic, electric or electronic components and production processes
- Understanding of cost and financial impacts,
- Military service must be completed for male candidates
- Advanced level of knowledge on Ms Office,
- B class driving license is required.
- Analytical thinking, result oriented, enthusiastic, fast in action but with detailed planning and good documentation, self motivated, positive and energetic,
MISSION:
- To consolidate the suppliers quality under the responsibility of the position according to the established standards, applying the methodology established by the Purchasing Quality function
- To ensure the correct product and production process approval for the purchased parts and raw materials required for production.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS:
- Organizing supplier PPAP and ISI documents and managing part approval process and supplier PSW
- Responsible from part quality until SOP + 3 months
- Ensuring that corrective and preventive action and 8D activities are carried out regarding the supplier,
- Conducting Planning and implementing supplier audits,
- Participating in supplier evaluation studies in new projects,
- Organizing supplier trainings when necessary,
- Conducting relations with existing suppliers, advising on engineering improvement necessary to increase the performance of suppliers
- Carry out supplier development study when needed.
- İnvolving serial quality problems when escalated.
