QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for innovative, team spirited " Supply Chain Engineer " to join our team for Ficosa Turkey which is the leading company in Automotive sector, with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering,
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain department at automotive sector (preferably internal logistic flows),
- Excellent command of spoken and written in English,
- Advanced IT competences(MS Office, Access Database Makro, C++, Visual Basic, Query Languages, Database Management),
- Good communication and interpersonal skills,
- Good knowledge of pull systems management (like kanban), value stream mapping and Lean Manufacturing,
- Good knowledge of cost management and calculation,
- Able to manage supply chain projects and experience in optimization projects,
- Good team player and result oriented.
Job Description
- To apply Just in Time principles & tools: increase frequency (train & milk runs), inventory management (flat stock),pull system (applying Kanban, Logistics Sequencer), Value Stream Map analysis.
- To design the physical flows of the warehouses and internal movements of the materials in the plant (trains, expedition) and follow up the related KPI's,
- To optimize the Logistic Cost of the Projects participating from phase 1 of FDS in the Core Team and to study (packaging studies, standard creation) the impact of each new project in the flow of materials of the plant,
- Define packaging specifications for both customer and supplier and follow up changes,
- New project assembly designs taking an active role as a core team member by involving process and production dpt studies,
- Provide his/her team with the necessary means to comply with Health & Safety and Environment rules and assure they are properly used,
- Actively cooperate with the Department in the maintenance, promotion and improvement of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and Environment
