Döktaş Iron Casting has been founded in 1973, in Orhangazi county of Bursa city is the biggest and leader foundry in Turkey. In Bursa Orhangazi facilities cast iron, nodular cast iron and machining activities and in Manisa Organized Industrial Zone facilities high and low pressured aluminum cast and aluminum rim production are being carried on.

Döktaş has joined GÜRİŞ Holding Industrial Group in July 2018.

Döktaş with its annual production capacity of 160.000 tons of cast iron, 14.400 tons of aluminum cast and 1.440.000 pieces of rim, produces aluminum, nodular cast iron and grey cast iron to the automotive, construction machinery, agricultural machinery and machinery manufacturers.

Being in 160th rank in ISO Top 500 Companies List in 2018, Döktaş has an important place in Turkish economy with its 2.500 employees.

We are looking for innovative, business oriented, team spirited “Supplier Development and Quality Systems Engineer” to join our team for Döktaş plant in Bursa – Orhangazi which is the leading company in foundry sector, with the following qualifications:

  • University degree in engineering preferably Mechanical Engineer, Metallurgical Engineer, Automotive Engineer.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in industry, automotive preferably
  • Systematic and results-oriented
  • Good communication skills
  • Advanced level of English both written & spoken
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Applications, preferably knowledge of SAP
  • No military obligation for male candidates
  • No restrictions on domestic and international travel.

    Job Description

    • Plans, organizes, evaluates, and reports supplier development activities in accordance with the quality standards and project requirements,
    • Monitors and analyzes supplier performance and applies necessary counter measurements to facilitate improvements if required,
    • Preparation of audit programs of suppliers in the approved supplier list, execution of audit activities within the scope of the programs; monitoring and managing quality and delivery performances,
    • Visits suppliers regularly to assess supplier's performance,
    • Participation in customer audits/meetings under his responsibility and follow-up of processes
    • Experienced in quality system audits
    • Knowledge and experience in quality system structure (IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, ISO 50001)
    • Knowledge of SPC, MSA, FMEA, APQP, PPAP and 8D problem solving methodology
    • IATF 16949 Internal Auditor certificate,
    • Work experience on supplier development and improving customer satisfaction
    • Fulfilling the quality system requirements in the purchasing department (IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, ISO 50001, 5S, Lean, Kaizen, SIS )
    • Ensuring necessary actions are taken based on departments for the follow-up and realization of purchasing KPIs,
    • Keeping the purchasing quality documentation updated and publishing and monitoring in QDMS,
    • Following exceptional customer requests and taking necessary actions,
    • Tracking the actuality of supplier quality certificates,
    • Conducting supplier surveys
