QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Purpose Summary:

Reporting to the Country Manager and Global Consulting and Auditing Director, the Supplier Development Project Manager contributes to the development (business, team, technical content, client relationship) of consulting, auditing, and quality engineering activities globally. In this context, he/she participates in the project management and business development, bringing his/her technical expertise. He/she ensures the appropriate implementation of the missions/projects from an operational point of view and coordinates the project teams .

Overall Responsibilities:

Business Development Of Consulting Services

  • Coordinate the different sales stages with sales team for the development of Consulting, Auditing and Quality Engineering services globally, respond to requests from clients and sales team;
  • Initiate client meetings;
  • Develop business offerings and create Technical (tailored solutions) and Commercial Offers;
  • Identify new business opportunities by utilizing the market networking and develop new service elements;
  • Develop marketing materials with the Marketing organization;
  • Identify client needs and propose tailored fit solutions;
  • Build relationships with clients (OEMs and suppliers) and/or industrial ecosystem (e.g. institution, association);
  • Participate on marketing events to promote TRIGO service portfolio and TRIGO image;
  • Identify, propose and participate to the development of new services with high added value;

Project Execution:

  • Identify clients’ expectation, develop Project Business Case with Scope of Activities;
  • Identify resources, compile feasibility studies, establish cross functional teams with the clients;
  • Perform financial evaluation planning for proper price settings;
  • Execute Consulting, Auditing and Quality Engineering projects as hands-on manager with allocated resources;
  • Lead and monitor project executions (consulting and/or auditing and/or training), establish and monitor KPI’s;
  • Measure client satisfaction and react if deterioration is experienced;
  • Evaluate the projects (measuring financial results and client satisfaction, feedback) and document lessons learned;
  • Track status of all missions (Mission planning, Resource planning, Logistics arrangements, Mission reporting, invoicing, payment from Client and Customer satisfaction feedback);
  • Monitor cost, expenses and profit & loss for each mission;

Profile Required:

  • Ten years (10+) experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive);
  • Five years (5+) experience in leadership position and/or experience in managing projects with team members;
  • Experience in a variety of sectors/commodities and roles;
  • Good command of English;
  • Engineering Degree, (Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering);
  • Willingness to travel;

Hard Skills & operational skills

  • Experienced in managing project development and mass production;
  • Expert knowledge in Core Quality Tools, methodology and standards (such as: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA & SPC, …), Six sigma tools
  • Strong knowledge of quality, health and safety management ISO standards and specific sector requirements (aerospace, automotive, etc.);
  • Basic knowledge of Lean Management and Manufacturing Concepts, Technics and Requirements;
  • Strong project management skills;
  • Experience in first- and second-party auditing of various Management Systems and/or quality or technological processes;
