QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
DowAksa, an international indirect joint venture between the Dow Chemical Company and Aksa Akrilik Kimya Sanayii A.Ş., established in 2012, is providing and selling high quality carbon fiber and carbon fiber reinforced advanced composite solutions by applying science, world class manufacturing capabilities and technical knowledge, to the industrial clients.
DowAksa is selling to diversified industrial market areas.

QUALIFICATIONS
The company is offering the role of a Supplier Quality Specialist;
•Bachelors degree in Engineering such as; Chemical, Mechanical, Material Science or similar fields,
•Preferably 2 years of experince in Automotive and/or Wind Industry (or technical experience with background in Quality Tools)
•Proficiency in written and spoken English,
•Preventive quality tools (8D, 5Why, FMEA , R&R, Cpk)
•Experience in Quality Management Systems (AS9100 is preferred)
•Good knowledge MS Office applications, and preferably has experiance on Oracle ERP,
•Competent in teamwork, strong analytical approach, enable a learning approach to solve problems,
•Residing or to be residing in Yalova or Karamürsel.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Ensuring the availability of necessary materials in accordance with general quality requirements,
• Product and supplier qualifications and supplier follow up,
• Following the approved supplier list,
• Following up the activities, including supplier facilities, for the improvements/changes made,
• Notifying the suppliers of supplier related errors and evaluating the actions taken,
• Making and monitoring risk analyzes for products and suppliers,
• Identification and implementation of supplier development practices.
• Work with Quality, production, design, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues related to existing suppliers
• To organize and perform supplier process audits if needed,
• To prepare supplier performance monitoring report considering the supplier KPIs to define
• improvement actions and coordinate internal review meetings.
• To prepare and contribute for the supplier quality scope when Customer visits/audits
• To lead the governance of NCR related with suppliers, share the NC with suppliers if needed and lead NC for CAPA actions
• To check and approve the suppliers’ control plans, supplier quality reports and records
