QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
- Develop and build prototypes and run their tests,
- Record and evaluate test data, altering designs as necessary to bring them to safety, performance and efficiency standards,
- Consult with production/supplier teams during product manufacturing, advising them on design specifications and providing physical assistance when required,
- Evaluate benchmarks in market periodically,
- Generate simple FEA's especially about Fluid Dynamics,
- Verify and check drawings and parts lists for accuracy,
- Give feedback to software and structural design engineers about system constraints,
- Analyze the cost break-downs of the outsourced components and evaluate alternatives.
Requirements:
- Completed engineering studies at university level; BSc/MSc/PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace/ Mechatronics Engineering,
- Minimum one year of experience in a similar position,
- Can identify priorities and effectively execute tasks and projects in a timely manner,
- Excellent command over written and spoken English; other languages would be beneficial,
- In-depth knowledge on selection of imaging components/subsystem,
- Know-how of design control processes,
- System thinking mindset and domain expertise in the related area,
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills,
- Good presentation, documentation, and reporting skills,
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
