Record and evaluate test data, altering designs as necessary to bring them to safety, performance and efficiency standards,
Consult with production/supplier teams during product manufacturing, advising them on design specifications and providing physical assistance when required,
Evaluate benchmarks in market periodically,
Generate simple FEA's especially about Fluid Dynamics,
Verify and check drawings and parts lists for accuracy,
Give feedback to software and structural design engineers about system constraints,
Analyze the cost break-downs of the outsourced components and evaluate alternatives.
Requirements:
Completed engineering studies at university level; BSc/MSc/PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace/ Mechatronics Engineering,
Minimum one year of experience in a similar position,
Can identify priorities and effectively execute tasks and projects in a timely manner,
Excellent command over written and spoken English; other languages would be beneficial,
In-depth knowledge on selection of imaging components/subsystem,
Know-how of design control processes,
System thinking mindset and domain expertise in the related area,
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills,
Good presentation, documentation, and reporting skills,
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
