Specifically MAT was established in 2012 in Izmir, Turkey and was founded by fish husbandry industry experts. Our expertise in animal husbandry for over 35 years is our biggest competitive advantage. Furthermore we understand animal behavior and we know in depth the operational needs to run properly a facility. Our company develops and tests the equipment performance and ensures its ease of operation on our marine fish quarantine facility in Izmir. In addition we have designed our organisation to deliver successfully and on-time demanding projects in any part of the world. Finally MAT has developed to become a design, manufacturing and contracting leader in the field of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) and specialty filtration technologies. Currently, we employ over 200 highly-skilled staff of multiple nationalities.

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our growing company.

Job Description

Understand Project specifications, contract and follow the project according to the work schedule.
Do market research, equipment selection that meets project specifications,
Prepare material submittal forms, compliance statement, procurement coordination.
Regularly follow up technical comments from the consultant, do the necessary technical study on them, close open issues, and get approval for the supplied equipment.
Systematic and organized approach to provide the necessary functions in the project at the lowest cost.
Request the goods and services to be purchased in accordance with the expectations of the project (standards, deadline, delivery method, etc.)
Ability to review blueprints, work with CAD files if necessary.
Assisting Site teams on necessary cases based on system design changes, providing calculations and case study including risk management.
Knowledge about Troubleshoot/tests plumbing systems and equipment.

Qualifications

Graduated from Mechanical Engineering.
Having max 4 years of hands-on MEP design experience.
Good knowledge of mechanic & plumbing, especially in plastic pipes.
Experience with plumbing and swimming water filtration systems and design. (Preference)
Understanding water filtration equipment principle and basics, ability to improve.
Strong self-planning discipline and self-start to work.
Strong written and verbal skills in English
Residing in İzmir & working at Head Office
