Performing requirements management, architecture design, integration, test and validation activities in scope of Turkish Fighter Aircraft Development Program (TF-X) for Avionics and Mission Systems.
System Engineer (Avionics and Mission Systems) Responsibilities Include:
• Analyzing user requirements and translation of them into system technical requirements and functions
• Engaging with customers, suppliers other stakeholders on specific technical requirements
• Generation, analysis, validation and verification of system requirements
• Generation of system concepts, development of system architecture and functional allocation
• Definition and management of system interfaces
• Support for certification and qualification activities
• Support for the definition and agreement on air vehicle level requirements and functions with customer
• B.Sc. degree in one of the following departments; Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Physics Engineering
• Experience or enthusiasm in systems engineering.(Preferably Aerospace related experience)
• Knowledge in product development processes and standards
• Capable of on time internal and external delivery of outputs
• Analytic and multi-dimensional thinking capability
• Ability to understand complex systems
• Responsible and ready for being a team player
• Experience in DOORS
• Ability to communicate effectively in English both oral and written

Area-1:
• Experience in Analog/Digital Communication Systems
• Experience inInformation & coding theory
• Experience intheory of communications systems
• Experience in logical analysis of communications systems & simulations
• Experience in physical layer designs, MAC/Link layer designs, tactical datalink protocols
• Knowledge in Avionics and Mission Systems and interfaces
• Understanding of RF communication system concepts, including link budgets, modulation, SATCOM
• Knowledge of CNI functions (voice radios, data links, Link 16, TACAN, IFF, crypto).
• Experience on using Matlab
Area-2:
• Experience in RF System/Architecture Design
• Experience in RF Requirement Development/Breakdown
• Experience in System Level RF Simulations
• Analysis and evaluation of equipment such as antennas, amplifiers/transmitters, filters, receivers, and digital communications equipment
• Work with a team of engineers to help assess and define configurations for various potential architectures
• Understanding of RF communication system concepts, including link budgets, modulation, SATCOM
• Knowledge in Avionics and Mission Systems and interfaces
• Experience on using Matlab, AWR-DE VSS, AWR-DE MWO, ADS, CST
• Experience on Environmental Requirements Compliance (Vibration, Shock, Humidity ..)

• Knowledge of Mil Standards, Digital Busses architecture (Ethernet, ARINC-429, MIL-STD- 1553)
• Working knowledge of the Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) technical standard.
