QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Anatolia is a leading manufacturer, importer and distributor of ceramic and stone tiles and is a major supplier to some of the largest home centers and distributors throughout the United States and Canada. Based in Toronto, Anatolia is a privately owned 100% Canadian corporation that is growing rapidly.

Anatolia has been operating in Aliaga, Izmir, Turkey since August, 2017 in its 60,000-square meter Distribution Centre. With this facility, Anatolia has been supporting its North American Customers, and continues to expand to new markets in Europe, Asia, South America and Middle East. In addition to its Distribution Center, the construction of Anatolia’s 250.000-square meter ceramic manufacturing facility is in progress with operations commencing in 2022.

Anatolia is now searching for a Technical Product Manager to join its expanding team in Aliaga, İzmir. With this role, you will contribute to the efficiency of our business by providing timely support to internal and external stakeholders. What you need is…

  • University degree, ideally a combination of business and technical education,
  • Minimum 4 years work experience on ceramic tile business in Product Management / Product Development / R&D,
  • Strong technical knowledge on ceramic tile products,
  • Knowledge on ceramic tile production process,
  • Ability to read CAD drawings,
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel and MS Project,
  • Working knowledge and experience with ERP systems (SAP preferable),
  • No military service obligations for male candidates,
  • Have an analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills,
  • Has a driver’s license, and is able to travel to client or supplier sites when required,
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.


As a Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating, implementing and executing the process of managing multiple product programs to ensure operational excellence and category performance. This includes mapping out and defining the list of dependent steps and processes that need to be completed to reach the overall goal as related to new product launches and product life cycle management with the objective of ensuring timely and right the first-time delivery to the customer.
  • Focusing primarily on tactical execution of operational elements, this role ensures deadlines are achieved, budgets maintained and delegates tasks across multiple departments.
  • Understanding of product lifecycle management.
  • Liaises between account managers, sales, customer service, supply chain and warehouse teams to provide project updates.
  • Manages multiple projects through the critical path and tracks project schedule.
  • Ensures budget perimeters and on time delivery commitments are met.
  • Manages and evaluates the progress of projects from concept to delivery and ensures strict adherence to critical path.
  • Supports continuous improvement initiatives and is accountable for the overall execution of project processes and deliverables in line with the project plan, including planning, financial, communication, stakeholder, risk and issue and scope management.
  • Prepares project reports and presentations for management, clients, others as required.
  • Actively leverages resources from various departments to manage deliverables to ensure commitments are achieved and to ensure continued repeatability of successes through the creation and maintenance of project documentation and measurement of success post implementation.
  • Serves as a conduit of information to all parties including design and development/marketing, sales, customer service and supply chain and vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, on scope, and on budget.
