GENEL NİTELİKLER

In this role, you will be the technical point person for the General Industry sales organization in General Industry in Istanbul/Turkey, providing technical solutions and advice on ABB products, systems and applications. Reporting to the General Industry Local Business Line Manager, you will support local sales teams and customers by advising on technical options and cost-effective solutions.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop solutions for industrial operations collaborating with customers, partners and ABB colleagues,
  • Develop feasibility studies and simulations for robotic solutions,
  • Provide technical support to the sales team,
  • Provide technical support to customers,
  • Represent ABB during site visits, communicating at all levels to ensure customer satisfaction,
  • Assist sales people during customer visits,
  • Lead concept designs and execute customer demo applications,
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the robots and associated equipment in their designated area of expertise e.g. handling, welding, painting, machining and assembly process, applications etc.
  • Join marketing activities,
  • To have a good understanding for customers operation and the key facts creating strategically competition advantages,
  • Reviews all major deliverables (i.e. strategic brief, function spec, tech spec, etc.) to ensure quality standards and customers expectations are met,
  • It is the primary duty of each employee at TRABB to educate our employees, contractors, suppliers, partners, trainees and visitors in quality, environment and in operational and health safety, inform them about the possible hazards, impacts and emergency plans and to provide leadership in these domains.


Your background:

  • University degree in Engineering degree (Mechatronic, Mechanic or Electric/Electronics),
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in automation or robotics,
  • Knowledge of industrial robot operations and servo systems, including electrical and software interfaces,
  • Preferably have a working knowledge of control systems, I/O, PLC and bus communication for building motion control,
  • RobotStudio knowledge is a plus.
