Working within the Process Automation; Energy Industries the Account Manager develops, implements and updates the account strategy for Energy Solutions in Istanbul; Turkey from the customer’s perspective. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will coordinate sales activities, creating added value for the customer and ABB, with a clear focus on increasing market share, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities:
- Defines and implements Power Generation segment sales strategy and budget and ensures high-level communication with Investors, EPC’s and System Integrators.
- Creates leads, finds opportunities in-line with Company’s business strategy, identify risks, prepare Risk Review presentation/database for management approval, prepare & submit offers on time with utmost care and attention. Leads negotiation stage with customers. Pursue & finalize sales stage until contract signature.
- Defines sales targets for the accounts, and ensures they are achieved with a structured follow-up process across the PAEN guidelines and tools.
- Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Ensures that all opportunities and their different sales stages are all captured and maintained to date in Sales Force.
- Creates added value for the customer and ABB and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques.
- Communicates details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy.
- Ensures efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers.
- Monitors competitor activity and ensures appropriate actions are taken.
- Identifies and drives the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
Your background:
- Graduated from Electrical, Electrical and Electronics, Control Engineering or similar.
- Minimum 7 years of sales experience of automation/control systems primarily in Power Generation Segment, experience in O&G, Chemical & Water segments is a plus.
- Product and market knowledge of DCS/PLC systems.
- Advanced in English skills.
- Turkish knowledge is a must.
- Teamwork and customer-oriented profile with strong communication skills.
- No obstacle for traveling.
