GENEL NİTELİKLER
Working as a Project Engineer, you will be the support person for various IAPI Solutions engineering projects in IAPI Solutions/Process Automation/Process Industries in Istanbul/Turkey providing technical details, costs and deliverables for sales proposals. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will make technical recommendations in various phases of customer projects to ensure successful delivery of project deliverables on time, within budget and in line with quality and safety guidelines.
Your responsibilities:
- Support the local Sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and prepare technical descriptions of the applied products and technology to support the proposal process.
- Serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area.
- Sales support: Preparing technical proposals for Process Industries Automation projects. Offers technical advice and provides comment on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/Sales Engineers with regard to ABB products/systems/ applications. Provides technical support during the technical meeting, product presentations and negotiations.
- After Sales Service Support: On-site engineering services and/or technical support via phone or remote connection for emergency cases and/or preventive maintenance services.
- Technical Capability: Engineering for service related (upgrade/extension) projects in ABB DCS Systems and other Digital Solutions.
- ABB DCS (800xA, Freelance, Advant) knowledge will be an asset for the candidate.
- Installed Base Management: Customer communications and update/define site datas for Internal ABB database systems.
- Diagnostic studies: Performs analytic and diagnostic studies to determine most suitable technical solution to meet customer needs. Proposes technical solutions for complex enquiries.
- Presentations: Prepares and delivers technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex product issues.
- Training: Execute product/solution/service related trainings.
- Technical publications: Prepares and checks technical articles for publication.
Your background:
- University Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering,
- Minimum 5 years of sales & sales support in related industry,
- Advanced in English,
- Turkish knowledge is a must,
- Teamwork and customer-oriented profile with strong communication skills.
