We are looking to actively shape the future at our location in Izmir, in Technical Services Department having the following qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- Maintain a safe working environment,
- Research new technology; imply solutions to error proof process,
- Improve equipment availability,
- Define and implement automation and digitalization strategy including roadmap, tools, framework & approach,
- Programming, commissioning, and testing of PLC and HMI programs (Siemens is a must, others is preferred),
- Integrate temperature, pressure, flow and humidity sensors via analogue signal processing – scaling,
- Calibration (Knowledge of analogue signal is a must),
- Prepares and inspects electrical drawings, engineering studies, specifications, plans and cost estimates as they pertain to construction or modification of the division's facilities and operations,
- Prepare instructions and forms of the planned maintenance, ensuring their dissemination in the field and updating them regularly,
- Implement and develop energy monitoring system in align with ISO50001,
- Implement manufacturing equipment such as motion control, vision, RFID, scanners/readers, robot, painting gun etc.,
- Generate cost savings or continuous improvement projects, plan, execute and report on deliverables in a timely manner,
- Attend daily production and maintenance meetings and provide permanent solution,
- Responsible for the troubleshooting and repair of the existing automation,
- Oversee maintenance function of the plant, parts, equipment, monitor and report improvement and preventative maintenance objectives,
- Make reports for corrective and preventive maintenance through the maintenance program,
- Provides engineering and technical support for the electrical (Low Voltage, Control and Automation) system of the plant,
- Provide hands on training to Electricians and Mechanics on all shifts as well as technical knowledge support and solutions,
- Provide and document all changes on electrical drawings,
- Lead the project in line with the budget,
- Participate in team meetings to review – resolve quality, service operations,
- Work in compliance with EHS Policies and Procedures, including AS9100.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of PLC and HMI programming experience for Siemens PLCs via TIA Portal (Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering),
- Proficiency in English verbal & written,
- A thorough understanding of electrical control systems for automated machinery preferably with machine builder experience in the automotive industry,
- Technical knowledge of maintenance manufacturing activities, ability to monitor and make recommendations for maintenance and related equipment and process improvements,
- Experience with networking and communication protocols including fieldbus networks,
- Experience in electrical, process control, instrumentation, automation, and computer and data communication systems,
- Understanding of integrated automation and information systems in a manufacturing environment,
- Experienced in contract follow-up and management,
- Being result-oriented and having interpersonal skills,
- Teamwork, communication, reliability, high self-motivation skills,
- Able to work in Izmir.
