Technical Service Manager

What we are looking for is a Service Engineer with following profile:

A bachelor's degree in an Engineering faculty (Electronic/Electric/Mechanical)

Fluent in English ( German is an asset)

Change and People Management skills,

Strong analytic ,communication and coordination skills

No restriction to travel

No military obligation for male candidates

Valid driving licence

Technical Service Background

What are the main tasks we are asking for?

Technical

Technical support over phone, e-Mail, personal

Carrying out technical trainings (from 1 to 4 days length)

Tandem visits with our service partner in case there are troubles which cannot be solved

Translation of technical documentation

Reading technical wiring diagram and support field.

Administrative

Warranty management

o Approval of claimed warranties in our own web based system

o Teach partner how to use our system

Reporting

o Monthly reports

o Data entry in our CRM system (like visits at customers, partners, etc.)

Planning

o Annual training planning

o Activity planning for activities which are leading to a better partner performance

Management

Managing our partner network

o Run assessments at least on per year per partner (like an Audit)

o Evaluate partner performance and define and agree activities to increase performance

o Negotiation with partners (here it is important to have good communication skills as on the one side he needs to communicate with a technician during the trainings and technical support and on the other side he needs to talk also to the management of the partners when it comes to negotiations or requirements we have towards our partner)

o Support partner for preventive maintenance contracts and follow-up actions.

o Organize unit installation

Handling customer complaints

o Dealing directly with customers in case there is a complaint

o Find individual solutions to increase customer benefit and satisfaction

o Do regular end customer satisfaction surveys on phone and report results

IT knowledge

Good in Microsoft office

o Excel should not be a secret (not just filling out, working with formulas, etc.)

In general good affinity to IT products as we need to serve several applications
