Job Description:
Established as a major player in international construction sector , we are seeking to add new enthusiasm, energy and excellency to its high calibre team by recruting the post below at the Headquarters in Istanbul.
We are looking for talents for the following positions to join the tendering department for a major international project.
Requirements and Qualifications;
· Bachelor’s degree in related fields (A relevant Civil Engineering BA or MA degree)
· Minimum 14-16 years total experience of working on large scale projects ( Shopping Mall, Hospital, Hotel etc.) abroad in the post is essential
· 7-8 years previous experience as tendering/billing manager, or related position
· Preferablly worked in countries such as Qatar, B.A.E,
· Prepeation of tender for structure projects in Arabic countries (Qatar, B.A.E. etc.,)
· Solid knowledge and understanding of tendering processes, policy, and systems,
· Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
· Strong presentation skills, able to explain concepts concisely and accurately
· Able to travel abroad
· Have completed military service (for male candidates)
Roles and Responsibilities;
· To leads a team of QS & Budgeting in tendering projects
· To attend site tender briefing
· To conduct briefing with top management on project details
· Delegation of tender work scope to QS and ensure workload of QS is well distributed
· To ensure time completion of measurement and sourcing of quotation
· Ensure tender corrigendum issued is update with tender documents
· Reviewing quotations and / or comparison of quotations by QS
· Preparing and Reviewing tender documents / drawings on contract requirements
· Conduct internal meeting with QS on issues of tender
· Submitting tender dossiers in full and as required in time
