QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a 'Testing Adjusting and Balancing/Commissioning Engineer for our various projects. This position will be based in the technical office and there will be traveling requirements to the different project locations.
Job Description:
- Reviewing the Project documents including the mechanical plan and riser drawings, technical specifications and the design analysis,
- Reviewing and commenting on the mechanical design documents and the equipment product data,
- Performing the quantity surveys,
- Review the mechanical installation on site and identify the problem if there is any,
- Balancing the HVAC air and water systems,
- Attendance to the duct leakage tests when required,
- Prepare the Daily and weekly progress reports,
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering,
- Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in building mechanical systems, especially in HVAC,
- Testing, Adjusting, Balancing (TAB) and/or HVAC Commissioning experience is an asset,
- Experience with test instrument usage is an asset,
- Excellent command of English (Language skills will be tested during the job interview),
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
- Self-starter, results oriented and team player,
- Good computer skills (MS Office, AutoCAD, etc.) is required,
- Technical writing skills,
- No restrictions traveling,
- No military obligation for male candidates,
- Prepare Daily Weekly & Monthly Reports,
