QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for enthusiastic and driven transport planners with minimum 8 years of experience. The successful candidate will enjoy the variety of work we are able to offer and also benefit from the positive training support that we can provide. The role will mainly focus on sustainable urban mobility projects.
The key elements of the role for transport planner include:
· Applying knowledge of basic concepts and principles of transportation planning,
· Interpreting technical data such as datasets, drawings, and maps,
· Applying knowledge of research and methods,
· Researching, collating, analysing, tabulating, and presenting data,
· Organize, draft, and coordinate technical documents,
· Contribute to preparation of reports.
· Bachelor’s degree on Urban and Regional Planning, Civil Engineering,
· Master’s degree on Urban Planning, Regional Planning, Transportation Engineering, Transportation Planning, or Transportation Economics,
· Experience on transport modelling (preferable),
· Experience on GIS (preferable),
· Knowledge and interest in economics (preferable)
· Strong verbal and written communication skills (English and Turkish), with excellent report writing, analytical and computer skills.
